Here’s how I’m ensuring clients have the right expectations for this market.
We all know that the real estate market will continue to ebb and flow as it tries to find balance. When the market does shift, we must manage our expectations. As your Realtor, my job is to let you know what to expect from the market and execute based on that information.
The market is still very strong for sellers, but it’s not the absolute feeding frenzy that we saw in 2021. Buyers will start to see more opportunities to purchase homes and should get off the sidelines soon if they aren’t already.
People keep asking me about a market crash. I can’t predict if and when that will happen, but I know that there is no data out there right now that points to a coming crash. Buyers should look at interest rates to determine if homes are affordable for them. Consider buying now if it’s the right time.
If you’re selling, know that it’s time to start managing your expectations and preparing for a ceiling. Buyers will ignore a home that’s priced above the market, so we need to price strategically.
“There’s no data to suggest an impending market crash. ”
Nobody can control what the market will pay for your house, but I’ll do everything in my power to get you the highest price possible.
If you have any questions about the market or real estate in general, don’t hesitate to reach out via phone or email. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
